Marcus M. Marcet, MD FACS

Dr. Marcet serves as the Section Lead Editor for Oculoplastics/Orbit. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong, Department of Ophthalmology. Prior to joining in 2010, Dr. Marcet served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Pathology at the University of Chicago. He specializes in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. He is a regular faculty participant at the Annual Meeting of American Academy of Ophthalmology. In addition, he volunteers on two AAO committees, including Ophthalmic Technology Assessment and International Meetings. He has published papers and presented nationally and internationally on a variety of subjects involving the eyelids, orbit, and lacrimal system. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the AAO, ASOPRS, and the American College of Surgeons. He has received three awards from the AAO, including the Achievement Award, LEO Recognition Award, and 2011 Best Paper Award. He has also received the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award.
