Coppock cataract (hereditary pulverulent cataract (Coppock-type)): Retroillumination slit-lamp photographs of both eyes (OD and OS) demonstrating bilateral, symmetric, central pulverulent lens opacities. A 40-year-old asymptomatic woman was referred for evaluation of suspected lens opacity. Best-corrected visual acuity was 6/6 in both eyes. The opacities are centrally located, well circumscribed, and exhibit a fine powder-like appearance, consistent with a hereditary pulverulent cataract (Coppock-type). A positive family history of early-onset cataract was reported. Given the absence of visual symptoms or functional impairment, conservative management with observation was elected.
